What lol.dk is
A chart of the top 100 online games you can play in a browser, kept by HyperPolished ApS, Denmark, as part of Great Games Network, a Moltke Benjaminsen Alpha project. It ranks games, describes them in a sentence or two and gives each one a page where you can play it. Our own games are not framed: their links open our own sites.
How the play pages work
A play page shows the game inside a frame. The game loads straight from its own site, unchanged. lol.dk does not copy, host or change the game and cannot see what happens inside the frame. The game's own terms, privacy policy, ads, accounts and purchases apply inside it, as on its own site. A game that asks not to be framed is not framed; its page links to the game's own site instead.
If you made one of these games
Mail [email protected] to have your game linked instead of framed, to change its link or picture, or to have it removed.
Suggestions
The Suggest a game form keeps what you send (the game, your note and your email), when you accepted these terms and a salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself, so a person can review the suggestion and write to you about it. Sending a suggestion does not mean the game will be listed. Your email is used only to confirm the suggestion and to tell you the outcome of the review, and a mail to [email protected] has it deleted.
Privacy
lol.dk has no accounts. It counts page views with a self-hosted copy of Umami, which stores no IP addresses and sets no cookies. Ratings and reviews on play pages go to our reviews service, which keeps what you write there. The site is served through Cloudflare, which sees requests the way any host does. Inside a frame, the game's own privacy policy governs, not this one.
The rest
The site is offered as is by HyperPolished ApS. It may be wrong, and games may stop working between checks. Danish law applies. Questions and complaints go to [email protected], the desk HyperPolished ApS keeps for lol.dk and funny.io.
